I know most of you won’t read this, but i don’t really have any other way to get my feelings out. I’m the kid of girl who would rather sit and read than go out and party. However, in today’s society, that isn’t “cool”. I’ve been bullied since I can remember. I tried to commit suicide in 6th grade after being raped by a cousin who is 15 years older than me. Every day at school was a living hell. Even at the small christian school i attended, i was ridiculed daily for being overweight and unattractive. I thought everything would change when i got to high school, but actually, everything just got worse. It’s now my sophomore year and I have attempted suicide twice within the year. BULLYING IS NOT OKAY. Just a month ago i wrote in my journal, “One day I will lie in my grave and no one will even mis me.” Is this how someone should go about their life feeling? FOr anyone out there who may feel the same way i did, THERE IS HOPE. I’ve been free of suicidal thoughts now for about three weeks. Wanna know my secret? I found the Lord. God is so good all the time. Loneliness is just God’s call for friendship time with you. “God makes a home for the lonely” -Psalm 68:6<3
